The Beast: Existential threat to you
Excerpted from my book Esau’s Kiss: The Repentant Evangelist. I think it is important to change our perception of Jews. I don’t want to present them as foreign and distant “they” and “them.” In this book, when I speak of “we” I speak of us Christians; when I speak to “you” I speak to you Jews. I will tell “you” Jews how “we” Christians think and feel, and speak of what “you” have done and said, not as an accusation, but in your own words, reflecting as best I can your heart and intention.
